Christoph Platzer (?-?): George Frideric Handel. Miniature on vellum, c. 1710. 6.77 × 4.78 cm. Lost (in 1948 stolen from the Handel House in Halle an der Saale, Germany); known from a black-and-white photograph only. - This is what the composer looked like during his stay in Italy (1706-1710).
