Logotype (‘logo’) of the Czech Handel Society. Author: Slavomil Nol (1963‒2011). Based on a black-and-white photograph of a marble bust of George Frideric Handel by Louis François Roubiliac (1702‒1762) from 1739, located at the royal castle in Windsor near London (height: 71.0 cm). The inscription on the logo imitates the typeface used to print the eulogy delivered by pastor Johann Georg Franck (Francke; 1669‒1747) at the funeral of Handel's mother, Dorothea (1651‒1730), née Taust, in Halle an der Saale on 2nd January 1731. The Society received the ink pen drawing, measuring 10.6 × 9.0 cm, from the author on 2nd September 1990.
