1948 stolen from the Handel House in Halle an der Saale, Germany);
known from a black-and-white photograph only. Negative in the Handel
House in Halle an der Saale, Germany. Inv.No.: BS-I V02. – This is
what the composer looked like during his stay in Italy (1706‒1710).
According to a description, the coat was blue, the tie (a silk scarf?)
white. The silver filigree frame was beset with gems.
